Walk A Mile In Her Shoes

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is a community event raising awareness and funds for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The walk will take place on April 11 at 12:30 p.m. during our Rec Show (April 10–12), with participants walking one mile around the Ag Expo. All proceeds benefit the McKenzie County Family Crisis Shelter, helping provide safety, resources, and support for those in need. Whether you’re walking in heels or sneakers, every step makes a difference. Join us for a mile that matters.

Walk A Mile In Her Shoes

Walk A Mile in Her Shoes returns on April 25, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST) at the Raymond Family Community Center, 1002 11th St W, Williston, ND. This community awareness event raises support for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault through a full day of family-friendly activities, local vendors, food, games, and live entertainment. Guest speakers begin at 2:00 PM, followed by the awareness walk at 2:30 PM. The first 50 registered participants will receive event shirts and swag bags. Join us to stand in solidarity with survivors and help strengthen prevention and advocacy efforts in our community.
